bentsen v. quayle. one of the finest (and funniest) political moments in american history. quayle was served that evening.
It's also special to me because it's the first campaign I ever worked on ;)

Too bad it was a losing effort, you've got a bunch of Quayle Youth running the GOP nowadays and hosting Fox News shows and the like

Lloyd Bensten's reputation notwithstanding, Quayle was an easy target. Geez, I thought the Bush/Quayle-era was painful. Guess it wasn't so bad compared to W/Chaney. W makes Quayle seem intelligent as Einsteine (sic). I need another drink.
