working with project managers all day I have to say
:barf:
you're the only one I've ever liked, Jem haha
I have to say from a completely non football and girly perspective, I like this look for Beckham and Calamity. They look like proper rough construction workers

Forgive this ignorant American, but I take it that Wembley is being refurbished? Is it an artificial pitch or natural grass?

normal grass. the ball bounces too high on Astro, and you burn your leg in a tackle. Astro is ok for the yankee space-suit gridiron boyz, but not for the "beautiful game" lads.

Glad to hear. I saw all the sand in the pictures and wondered if they were going to just plop down some artificial turf. Natural grass is making a comeback in the states, but there is a new kind of fake stuff made from recycled tires that is supposed to be quite excellent.
The yankee space-suit gridiron boyz, by the way, HATE artificial turf. The only ones that like it are the kickers, as it's a nice, true, even surfce to kick off of.
By the way, why would they announce Eriksson is leaving the team after the World Cup, just a few months beforehand. Isn't anyone worried about his lame duck status hurting team discipline?

Ah, I was afraid of that.

coz the F.A (Football Association) are a bunch of old gits who haven't got a clue. Sven is a lame duck. but he won't give a fuck. So, win or lose, the pressure will mount on McClaren come Sepetmber.
Well...err.. I thought here were photos to prove that the 1966 Wembley-goal wasn't a goal... ![]()
