Oh, well, if we're talking comic books too then I guess I'll go with Wolverine. Nobody will fcuk with a surly dude with adamantium class...except Magneto.

If I included comic book characters, the it would be Mr. Fix-it, the Grey Hulk from the McFarlane era. Almost as strong as the green hulk, but way way smarter.

Wolverine would have also been up there as a choice along with a few others. Helps to have almost 7,000 comic books at home for reference material :D

The smart Hulk is cool! Too bad he didn't last very long.

I was good phoenix for halloween one year though..

couldn't find a maroon suit but did find bright green

That's awesome!! I can't wait to see Phoenix in X-Men 3. Maybe we'll get to see Dark Phoenix in X-Men 4, though I doubt it. Cyclops used to be my favorite X-Man but I changed my tune somewhere along the way.

good point. essential to their crime fighting partnership. bit like Yogi bear and boo boo, but in a desert rather than a national park.

it opens tonight. ;) well tomorrow. I reckon I'll see it this weekend...

It was supposed to be all Dark Phoenix Saga and then at some point there was a complete rewrite. She'll be in it but who knows to what extent.

It's the last x-men movie.. there's a wolverine one in the making already

no interest for me..

btw x2 was on tv last night in a promo for x3. The fight between cyclops and jean grey is unfriggin real. I always hated how people who didn't read the comic underestimated the coolness of these two (jesus christ they are the two most power mutants on teh planet!) for fucking wolverine gambit and other random people

Well isn't that where your user name comes from?

The first name came about when I was trying to find a login name back in the early 90’s that was 8 characters are less, and since I collected comics, Psylocke fit the requirement. Plus she was a cool character who went from being a minor character to kick butt with her transformation. The last name came from a name that James Bond used in one of his movies.

I booked the day off work to see X-Men 3 tonight but my parents came up to visit me at the start of the week so had to have my days off shifted round i wasn't impressed at all.

And i'm not off till next Thurs so i'm gonna have to wait a WEEK!! to see it.

so no spoilers please!

A forth movie will be made, theres too much money to be made. they're also doing a Magneto film, which i'm more looking forward to than a wolverine spin off.

did the re-writes come when Bryan singer jumped ship?

I was a big big time X-Men collector. Probably only 2,000 or so in my collection though. Psylocke was only a minor character when I stopped collecting though, so I don't know too much about her. Maybe they'll stick her in X-Men 4??

She was a minor character in the X-Men comics, but played a bigger part in some of the stories of the Wolverine series. She was also the sister of Brian Braddock, who was Captain Britain, from the Excalibur series.

From what I have heard, she does make an appearance in the new X3 movie, but has powers of the "Crimson Dawn" version of the character.

Ah, I used to collect Excalibur, so I know Captain Britain. Not familiar with Crimson Dawn though. Guess I'll find out in a few days.

A-ha, Dr. Quinn. I always liked Stormy just because he was so friggin stupid.

I don't think I have to "pick" a cartoon character to be, because I am the real-life version of Charlie Brown :\ohwell:

I'd probably be Lisa Simpson, but I'd rather be something else since that's taken.

I don't know that I'd want to be him, but Carl from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" is probably my favorite cartoon character right now.

Unless he's taken, I've got dibs on "Space Ghost" (because it's always been my dream to host a crappy talk show where I spend more time blasting my crew than talking to the guest) :evil4:

almost 7,000 that's fantastic. Have always loved both Tin Tin and Asterix. Used to have most of them and lived fairly close to a library so was forever taking something out on loan. we used to also take a scene or imagine a scenario then draw all sorts of the characters in a Grande situation, with feasts and dancing and Armies, and Asterix and Dogamix and the whole Team Lounging under trees dancing w/ guitars. Or.. then do the same thing with Tin Tin Overseas. So still find the same type of adventure appealing and would love to live like that.

Oooh i didn't say why. It's so i can run while doing the splits mid-air, and get followed by a load of men in a car!

That's who came to mind for me too. Boy could that girl run!! Helllp!!

I also liked the Coyote and always wanted an episode where he smashed that bastard Roadrunner?

Either... because he gets the most ass of any cartoon character (even though his methods and conquests are questionable at best)

Or maybe...

because...well this goes without explanation!

Last but not least...

Disco Stu likes Disco Music!
