Given that I can hardly ever get the TV to myself these days, I've been watching far too much of the BBC2 Eggheads quiz show. (I know, all TV quiz shows unashamedly anticipate cultural events that will occur just after the broadcasted show and get viewers to think of the game show on their TV channel.)
One of the Eggheads is always challenged to ask questions on the subject of Politics, because the public challengers always seem to assume that the youngest gentleman "won't be clued up on this subject".
Not only does he wipe the floor with those pathetic contestants every time, but he gets away with more subtle 'conservative' bashing than Billy Bragg could ever dream of. It's not so much a Tory-Labour thing, more a "who cares about [that other lot]" snub, in a gentlemanly and un-party political fashion. A very good looking and well-styled shirt wearer too.
