What came first? Fried chicken or fried eggs?

The cockerel came first, he laid the chicken.

i always thought it was the egg. eggs have been around far longer than chickens.

..and in much more interesting science news, invisibility cloaks could become a reality:

Good to see scientists are working hard on those important conundrum's of life. Possibly we could use the Pope's thread to make the egg problem disappear???

Hmm, a "final solution to the Eggish question?" :evil4:

Round them up and send them to camps, away from the general poultry population of Europe. Will promote the racial purity of the master (chicken) race. Next, address the issue of turkeys and their role in "Third Chicken Reich" :brow:

Disney was responsible for funding this logical scientific conclusion... but I'm sure this will piss of the Conservatives because in evolution the egg comes first, but in Creationism god just snaps his fingers and makes a chicken before the egg out of his special god sauce... so this is another example of those damn Hollywood liberals destroying America

Since when has Disney been "liberal"? When conseratives talk about all those Hollywood liberals, it rather makes me laugh. Hollywood is a big corporate industry owned and operated by the six big transnational media conglomerates, so while the "artists" (if they can be called such) in Hollywood may be liberal, the actual powers largely behind the producing and distribution of films are very, very conservative.

They could have saved a lot of time and money by just asking me.

I think we should hear from the man who was there...

It's evolution, stupid (as some US president may have said)

Animals/humans can't change while they're alive (so bad luck, some of you!) but their offspring can be different.

The creature that the chicken evolved from couldn't change itself but its reproduction process led to an egg that was different, somehow, from previous eggs.
