That sounds pretty top actually! Good setlist! Be nice to get along to one of their shows one day though - but at the moment it aint possible as we both have the mother of all overdrafts to fricking well pay off after spending a fortune doing our living room and kitchen up....... Bastard!

I saw them twice last autumn and last week in London. They don't play Over the wall on this tour. They're very good now again. The most songs are from the albums Heaven up here (1981) and Siberia (2005). Both produced by Hugh Jones.

I only wish we could be around for that same weekend but can't as we're going to be abroad for a week - typical bad clash of events as usual. Ah well...

What have you been doing to yourself to get so ill? Is it something that you ate or drunk?

The gig might be a tonic for your recovery - their music has amazing healing powers so I truly believe!

:) :D

I might go see them tonight, just have not decide if I want to drive into town and see them play. Just not as much fun when you go by yourself compare to a group.

T'was a good show. I'm amazed at how often Ian McCulloch smoked. He was like a chimey. It was impressive.

Boy Kill Boy was pretty good as well. Horrible hair though.

i missed boy kill boy. i got there just as they finished, as i had no real interest in seeing them.

Boy Kill Boy arent that bad actually.

I do worry about Mac's insatiable fag habit (NO pun intended) cos he's always been chain smoking in that way when he gigs. :nonono: :(

If he expired premmaturely through his lungs packing in I will NOT be a happy man - cos of his godlike status obviously. I'm glad I packed up smoking when I was 23 - ten years of health watching now for me cos I used to be a lanky fat bastard too! Heaven forbid Mac goes the same way.....

Have to agree, I actually liked about 1/2 their set last night.

I wish I could have stayed for the whole Echo set, but having to get up by 7am sucked. It did not help that they opened the doors a little after 8pm but Boy Kill Boy did not start playing till 10:15pm. Echo finally took the stage around 11:40pm  so I caught only 1/2 their set before I had to leave.
