starting off in skye on the 28th of june for two nights, then to braemar for three (i'll have a car for the scottish leg of the trip). then down to manchester for a week (and liverpool, of course!), then oxford (possibly--depends on if my mates are around), and then london. i'd love to meet up for drinks with people if they're in any of these vicinities (colin, ness, ally, jemma, BA, don, shug, etc. this means YOU). just don't be alarmed if i drink you under the table and i promise not to talk about politics while pissed! (that is, unless you want me to ;). )

i'm going to be in england from 1-9 July.
Mostly Manchester visiting some old friends and then liverpool for the show

It's not super expensive.
It took a couple cancelled trips to get the time off. But summer is slow enough in the election cycle for me. (Unfortunately it's more expensive than other times in the year). But that's my job. Book the time and go.

Has anyone else noticed that I dont get a mention in this? I get the tickets, get a place to stay etc. Jeez!
I'd love to. Always have wanted to. New complication with a Bengali wife, though. I could talk her into going, but not this year (vacation time & money), and next year we have to go to Bangladesh for a couple of weeks, so it looks like maybe 2008, unless I win the lottery. 
At least there will be no shortage of advice from here whenever I do get to go. :)
