My Sky Plus Subscription ran out the other day, along with the last three weeks worth of recordings of Invasion/Prison Break/Desperate Housewives. I'm gutted, i've been saving them up because i've been out a lot recently, and now they've all gone.

Is there a website where you can download these?

I don't want to renew my Sky Plus because it's a total rip-off and i've more important things to spend my money on.

Done

EDIT: I will also see if I can find out if there is a way to unlock the hardware elemnet of it so u can still use the harddisc features on whatever channels you have available stll. And I'm pretty much in the process of turning my PC into the same thing as sky plus. Will explain off-forum, if I can ever get another email through to you LOL

Let me have the episode numbers if possible ( you'll get em from an episode guide online). Maybe we can use some of these as tutorial examples in the near future.?

PS...10 mins and a screwdriver and you can watch what's there.

As I have often been forced to point out, males finding females desireable, and perhaps wishing to gaze upon their curvy bits, is not perverse. It may vary from perfectly acceptable to downright ungentlemanly, but never perverse.

Perverse is dressing up as the pope, wearing suspenders and a clothespeg on the balls, and tuggin yer tadger over a knitting pattern.

Dude....flying on vapour was like about 11am, I'm only awake by divine intervention as far as I can tell, and you know that's a serious thing for ME to be saying. Any failure to make sense or spell or type, or refrain from nosediving and drooling on the keyboard is therefor not my fault but that of the pixies or something. It's a good job this isn't really a real thread, I mean I had it covered, the silly girl shoulda mailed me in the first place, too kind and unimposing see ( or is it the terms of the retraining order that she's not to encourage me).

Hate to be the pedant again,but......There is a world of difference between Retraining order and Restraining order Cambo:D

Jem, Sky is a rip off so use the following tactics

10 Subscribe for a bit 20 Cancel subscription (normally for summer - no football but miss out on cricket) 30 Wait for half price offer, normally 6 months at £21- ish for full package. 40 Go to 10

Anyone else remember crap programmng languages?

The above has worked for a few years now.

Looks like Sinclair Basic to me :D (MS basic, only it actually worked)

#!/bin/bash ##this is steve's sky script

#subscribe to sky

/usr/bin/subscribe --dev =/dev/sky --no_movies --duration=2592000

wait 6 months

sleep 15552000

#check for offer

cat /dev/shitty_ad|grep offer|grep halfprice

#restart process.

/usr/local/bin/skyscript

##End

LOL....5 years+ of it and still can't do conditionals like "is the offer on yet, if so reru script, if not sleep another 24hours and try again" in Bash. (Melly and Peely probably now think I have an exceptionally small willie :D )

:abovelol: Is okay, my progging has suffered as of late from chronic disinterest! :eek3: I've actually been otherwise engaged in other projects of silliness!

(Like rescuing Orb LPs from the bargin bin at a resale shop. :nonono: Who throws em out, I mean really.)

I'm sure it's something to do with IF and FI but fooked if I know :D Linux is great, so much more documentation to avoid reading ;)

And that's a very noble and worthy thing you did Melly, shame on anyone who would throw the Orb out....maybe they quit toking :evil4:
