A good point However I think the real problem is when someone directly threatens an individual. Under those circumstances it's understandable that people will get aggravated. surely a rule can be made that no threats are allowed on the site and if the rule is broken then that person will be banned from the site for a time. Pubs do it all the time, I see no reason why that rule could not be implemented on here from now on. That would stop this kind of thing happening in the future.

The problem with labels/groups is that everyone starts generalising. Fine if Steve wants to talk about the relative turnouts of any given group at gigs, but frankly, I couldn't give a toss about how many of any group go or not, 'Shedheads' included... There's no minimum requirements for being a member here or posting, be it in terms of how long you've liked NO, how many NO records or items you own, whether they're your favourite band or not, how many gigs you go to... I'm not a huge fan of going to big gigs, which is gonna affect whether or not I want to go to every single NO gig or not... I have utmost respect for those who spend a lot of time and money going to every date on a tour, or going abroad to see the band, but it's not for me... Doesn't make anyone any less of a fan if they go to one, all or none of the gigs... I'm not sure why this even came up - it's not as if any 'Shedhead' has been banging on about how they/we are NO's ultimate fans or anything... Can we not just leave it at the fact that we're happy the band are playing a fair bit this year and that many of the folks who post on NOOL are going?
