Any NOOLers in Southern Ontario, Canada?

I also belong to a web-based car club and one the great things about that club is the many social events that occur over the year. I think that there are a few Southern Ontario members here.

Anyone interested in getting together for a beer or something? Anyone close to Ontario and willing to travel would also be welcome. I'm just interested in meeting other NO fans besides my best friend. We can only talk about our memories so often and since the band hasn't been back here for a while, we don't have any new ones.

Let me know where you are and we can figure out a "central" meeting place.

Actually, no. They never send me anywhere good for work. :(

I was just vacationing with the wife. We may go back next year, but probably not before then. I'll keep you in mind next time we head that way though.

Sounds weird to hear someone say they were vacationing in Toronto. Don't get me wrong, I love the city, it's just so close to home.

T-dot? I'll have to remember that so I can sound hip.

I think Toronto is a cool city. Especialy compared to Rochester! We were only there for two days, as my wife doesn't have much vacation time. She's never been there before (being from Bangladesh) so I just wanted to hit some highlights. We decided to take our time and a small number of places rather than rush through a large number of pages. We went to the zoo (met a 25ish Toronto native there who'd never been before!), CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and an Indian restaurant. Next time we'd like to check out Allen Garden, the Art Gallery, and hopefully Eaton, or some such place, where maybe I can find a kick ass music store where I could find Monaco and Superhighways!

Nice to hear a positive about the area, the residents sound pretty harsh lately.

Some good choices there. Never been to Allen Garden or the Art Gallery (AGO). Eaton's Centre is always cool, but the good music store is the HMV on Yonge Street, just slightly north of the Eaton's Centre. 3 floors, and all the cool stuff you want for good prices!! (I'm a little biased cause I used to work at the HMV in my home town of Brampton, Ontario).

Cool. Thanks for the HMV tip! I had no idea where a good music store would be, I just assumed Toronto would have better selection than upstate NY.

I was in Toronto last week, don't know if that's near Bolton though! I am over there about every six months though.

about a half hour drive. Keep me in mind next time you're over here, I'd love to meet someone from the UK.
