RIP John Entwistle, 4 Years Today

I don't care if I'm the only person on here who is a fan of The Who, or if I'm the only one who recognises Entwistle as a GENIUS bass player.

This thread had to be started. The man is an absolute legendary bass player, one of my favourites of all time. Seeing The Who is clearly not gonna be half as good as it would be if John was still around. :(

shame the active bass pretty much went with him too.

An amazing bass player from an amazing band-- the other half of that rhythm section being the one and only Keith Moon.

Love the early and mid-period Who a lot, hadn't heard too many latter day tracks that appealed to me. Still, have to give it up for The Ox...... 4 years since.........wow.

Alright, took only one week to cross this country and then the pond. Hopefully they didn't get bent in the crossing
