Mate of mine worked for Enron and never hiked any of his shares, even when they started to drop dramatically, thinking they'd go 'back up'. They never did. Ouch.
Then he started working for us, bought a fortune in shares in our bank. Sure enough, our prices tumbled too.
Thankfully he left and our shares went up again. 
But he's got a rich bird anyways. Where's the justice?! 
Mate of mine's first job after graduating was for Enron... Probably the shortest grad programme of all time... He's ow making a fortune on TV quiz shows... As Al said, where's the justice?

It's not like he was going to rot in prison with thugs from the ghetto and junkies, as much as I would have wanted to see that.
Part of me can't help thinking of the possibility he faked his death and fled the country. He has the money and influence after all.
I was surprised when I heard this. Even though I was a bit ticked off since Lay avoided jail, it just shows that the bad will be punished by the Almighty. I'm not a die-hard Christian, but I know that the Lord works in mysterious ways.
