Does anyone know why when i try to download stuff, be it from torrents or file sharing (i.e Limewire or Soulseek), my computer has the need to restart completely at random?

And, anyone know how to stop it from doing this, as its getting bloody annoying now.

Soulseek workes just fine for me.

Used DC++ before, and with an old version of it, my computer restarted.

Try a system restore to a point before this started happening Liam....

Worked for me.:thumb:

Yeah the old system restore to a date before the computer started messing up is the option i usualy go for.don't know enough about the bloody things to do it any other way.it often solves the problem.

Someone was talking about torrents and stuff on saddle creek yesterday. Basically saying to be careful because ,well, here is what they said:

just look for the most seeded, they are usually the better ones.

but uh, don't use public torrent sites, the feds are cracking down on torrenters, and by law the torrent site can't get in trouble, but they do have to hand over the ip logs, so if you are looking for a huge movie, or album don't even try.

Try to get private torrent site invites.

So, after all day either trying to get my internet to work, (and having a go at my provider, got myself a nice discount while i was at it, simply by threatening to switch) and then trying to keep my computer from switching itself off, I have now managed to download the final few episodes of lost from Limewire.

Next problem, i can get it to play the sound in Windows Media but not the picture, so can someone please tell me where to get the fucking software so I can see the picture.

And they wont play in real player at all. What a shower of bastards microsoft are.
