One thing I like about American sports vs. international club football-the players are not walking billboards. I think I'd bark if the Yankees had "Starbucks" or the Cowboys had "Home Depot" on their chests. Not that American sports is lofty and pure, or anything, but at least I'm not reminded of the overcommercialization of the game whilst I'm watching the players in action. Our overcommercialization is restricted to the stadiums (NASCAR excepted). :)
Having said that, I like the new Chelsea kits. Blue works for me. 
kits are little more than thin sweaty T-Shirts these days.
dreading our Red one now. bound to be similar to the Kings Road Kunts, as both by Adidas.

Hope you are right, but i fear they'll be unstoppable in England and Europe.

as far as i'm aware footy isn't interrupted every two minutes for an ad break though....
