So Frank? How are the Islanders doing? :evil4:

I almost fell on the floor when I heard they fired Neil Smith and replaced him by Garth Snow.

Oh my... this team is not going anywhere.

On another subject, I don't remember if I posted that here, but check this out:

I managed to watch the game while on my vacation ;)

Now there's a fan! I think the Sabres are gonna trade Biron. Hopefully they'll get something for him.

Well, I won't blame the Sabres, Ryan Miller is awesome.

But it seems there are many goalies available and nobody to take them.... the Habs also have 2, but I'm sure they will keep both until they are sure one of them is doing the job.

Yeah, it's probably a buyers' market with several pretty good, but untested goalies out there. Hopefully the Sabres can trade him to the west so he won't come back to haunt them. It was cool during the strik having Miller play for the Rochester Amerks. :thumb: They kicked ass in the regular season then flamed out in the playoffs, though. :(

I don't have a team :(

I did see a flyers game once last season

so much frosted-big-hair white trash it made my stomach hurt

I was assured that Philly is the only town in which the hockey fans might as well be nascar fans but i'm a bit skeptical about that...:skeptic:

Maybe a few years ago. Now I would think the fans in Carolina and Atlanta could make the same claim.

Yeah, neanderthals on skates. :evil4:

Nick i checked the calendar 3 times to make sure it wasnt april 1st:banghead: yet again the Islanders and their fans are the laughingstock of the Sportsworld, it was bad enough we hired the GM that brought the Rangers their last cup, but then we sign their worst player(Poti), then fire the GM and replace him with out Back-up goalie, and to add insult to Injury snow's player contract of $750,000 U.S. still counts against the cap for the next two seasons because he signed it after he was 35:dead:

I think the GM and goalie should have simply switched jobs.

Canucks look good this year with a decent goalie in along time, will make up for losing Jovo. Now that Bert is gone, dunno who'll be with Nazz and Mo, maybe Kessler.

Too hard to predict too much as players are moving around everywhere which is all good in approaching the season with optimism for any team really.

Cheers.

The Canucks hired the Habs ex-coach Alain Vigneault too.

Funny though, the last 3 coaches of the Habs are now head coach somewhere else.. pays off to be in the hot seat of the NHL apparently, and yet Pat Quinn doesn't have a job :evil4:

Why? :evil4:

They didn't survive back-to-back eliminations by the Habs?

tired of watching management run the organization into the ground.

signig Zdeno Chara isn't enough. If they make the playoffs this year, maybe, maybe, I'll tune back in. Until then Syonara, brown bears.
