Discovered them through 20 Jazz Funk Greats. Only one I got. Noticed that they've reformed recently.

Any other fans here?

I've tried, but can't really get into them.

Eddie Vedder has always struggled with names, hasn't he? What was that first one before the singer died? Mother Love Bone? Better than EV and the PJs though I suppose.

Mookie Blaylock what?

Mookie Blaylock has nothing to do with Mother Love Bone. Stone and Jeff were in MLB, not Eddie. When Andrew Wood - MLB singer - died, Jeff and Stone got with Mike McCready and Eddie to form a band - Which was called Mookie Blaylock after the basketball player. Then cos of copyright issues, they had to change the name - to Pearl Jam. First album was called Ten after Mookie's number.

good band. I have an compilation of them that my bud made me years ago. Not everyday music but once in a while their nice to listen to.
