Last night, after the pub, I grilled some unsmoaked back bacon then chopped it up and put it into a bowl. Into the bowl I added diced cherry tomatoes (vine-ripened, of course), tabasco sauce, balsamic vinegar and milled peppercorns.

I toasted one side of some slices of poppyseed bread then spooned the bacon and tomato mixture onto the untoasted side of each slice. Then I finely sliced some Double Gloucester cheese, placed that over the top and grilled for a few minutes.

Does this count as a bacon sandwich? If so, I would like to enter it in the BCD 'best bacon sandwich ever' competition (first prize £40).

Hmm not too sure if it qualifies as a bacon sarnie...sounds fookin good though:thumb:

Couldn't we have both? I mean, under Fat Bob's ridiculously baggy black clothes, his man-boobs must be bigger than Barney's, perhaps even approaching 38EE at some point. :skeptic:
