"Watching her during filming confirmed what an exciting new talent she was"

All I remember of her appearance during filming was her enticing a fellow office boy to suggestively slope off for a [cough] coffee with her, round the back. Phwoar.

Another one to encourage the Dads to watch then.

Where've you been living?

They've been doing that from the Day Dot.

Sarah-Jane, Romana, Leila, etc.

Leala I will admit, but SJS and Romana were a cut above surely?

Mind you I am assuming that her character is to be Rose II...ie a very dim human.

personally I want them to bring Frobisher to the TV series, he's a metamorph who travelled with Colin Baker and Sly McCoy in various audio adventures, his preferred, even seemingly permenant, form, is that of a 6ft talking penguin :)

A cut above what?!

You still would! :food:

Romana II is my idea of perfection I must admit.

A cut above bare faced drooling I think, a bit more refined and ladylike (yes yes, I know that probably just means you have to work to find out how filthy such a girl really is, but still).

From a CHARACTER point of view I adored both Romanas (Romani? Romanae?), it was so nice to have someone who was the Dr's equal instead of just another stupid ape who's main funtion was to say "huh?"

Yeah the first one was Mary Tamm (sp?) who played her in the "key to time" season, she then regenerated into Lady Lalla Ward (in Destiny of the Daleks)....the REALLY sexy one

For me Peri and Romana and Billie have all just dropped a place- Freema is now the number 1 companion babe to me... well just so long as she doesn't have a strange facial tick, a bad limp and spittle issues...

:love2:

More attractive than Billie(y?) whose lower face has odd proportions to it.

Yup, bit of a geek-out. Sad that he documents every tiny variation made by the BBC pros dept. but leaves out Emperors, supreme Daleks, and THESE fuckers.

I do love me Daleks, I just listened to Dalek Empire from big Finish for a 2nd time, wonderful stuff, and better than TV cos the FX are in yer heed....like hordes of the above lifting from a planet's surface to engage approaching landers, never gonna see that on TV unless it's cheapo CGI.

I'd love to see that big bastard back on TV!

Excellent design, but from the crappy McCoy Era.
