For anyone else going to see Madge at Wembley you'll be in for a treat. I was at the Cardiff show on Sunday and it was a fantastic show, well worth £70 easily. It was really like being in a giant nightclub, twas really camp. Highlights for me were Live to Tell, Jump, Ray of Light, Lucky Star & Music. Just really was a brilliant show from start to finish ![]()
Madonna Confessions Tour

My younger sister went on Sunday to Cardiff. I saw her today and asked her about it, and wish i hadn't!! Turns out she had the worst day of her life!!
She went down there with two male friends who pushed to the front, causing a bit of trouble. She was getting pushed about so much, she decided to go to the bar for a break from it.
She spent about half an hour queuing for beer only to be told she was in the food queue (right next to the beer queue). Due to the time spent in the first queue, she decided to double up her order to 6 pints of lager.
One of her friends was supposed to be coming to give her a hand. She tried to ring her friends to come help her, they never appeared, she couldn't get a signal on her phone. She realised she couldn't carry 6 pints on her own so offered to give 3 pints to some girls stood nearby. These girls looked at her like she was a freak and wandered off. The next minute a steward came over and kicked over all her beer!
She finally found her friends, but a girl stood behind her took umbrage at her sudden appearance and poured a full pint down her back, amazingly my sister just decided to keep calm rather than deck the girl and get thrown out.
After drying off she finally saw a couple of tracks and did admit Madonna was brilliant. She decided to go back to the hotel alone to get out of her beery smelling clothes. The Security guy didn't believe that she was staying at the hotel as the name was booked by her friends boyfriend and she didn't know his name!
The dayout cost her an absolute fortune, and she just thought it was a nightmare. Shame really.
It's a play on Majesty, the papers love to give celebrities, royal status. Beckingham Palace, Madge, er, that's all i can think of for now.
Oh and Will Young, Queen.
Fooking hell Jemma how many ladders did yer wee sis walk under?
Lorraine and i have tickets for the Wembley show on the 15th.
Not too impressed with the set list as i was hoping she'd be playing a greatest hits show.
It'd better be good though as it cost me £350.

Tell me about it! I'm sure you'll have your moneys worth. I would imagine everybody else in the stadium loved it! Enjoy

Took the missus to see Madonna last night at the Shed ( Wembley Arena ) 3rd August.
Tickets were £173 each including the booking fee and delivery charge. Picked up a mate and his missus. Stuck £40 in the car and proceeded to head for LANDAN.
Got to Wembley, and the first thing I noticed is the ARCH ain’t fcuking straight, who built that, BOB THE BUILDER or ROCKET MICK?
Car Parking was £15
Went for a Chinese in Wembley – Not bad £76 for 4 people.
Headed to the venue, Nice to see the NEW ORDER posters on display in and out of the Venue.
Time to check out the merchandise ;
T- Shirts range from £25 - £40 Tour Book £25 – Where’s John Sludden when yer need him ?
Had a few Drinks – Warm Pint of Carlsberg ( Southern Shandy ) in Plastic Glass - £3.00.
Saw Alison from Beautiful South, my missus loves her hair.
Took our seats, Madonna appeared, sound was shite for first few tracks, however the engineers got the sound better for the remainder of the show. I have to admit it was a superbly choreographed show. I can reveal where Rocket Mick has been recently. He has been rehearsing, he appeared as a dancer for Madge.
Good show, lots of new stuff, and wait for it NO ENCORE , now what can’t NEW ORDER do that and leave us wanting more ????
Recorded the gig
Got in the car, back home 2am, can of beer and bed, back in work 8:30am to bring you this report.

Wow! I can't believe this is something NO fans would be interested in and a 70 pounds/130 US $ for. That's straight up bullshit!![]()
As strange as it sounds, New Order fans can have *gasp* differing tastes in music. Something really shocking I realise, but believe me its true.
please, don't chastise me. I'm completely aware that we have differing tastes in music. I'm only surprised that people will throw out that much money for a show. Thank you.

I don't know what this means, but it sounds like something I'd enjoy calling some people. Can I get a little help with the meaning of this (I did get the "bum licker" one).
