I don't know if it is known out of our country yet... They found two bombs on two different trains today. One next to where I live (Dortmund) and one in Koblenz. They were found in "left" luggage and consisted each of a bottle of propane and an alarm clock as a detonator. Happily they were found before they could detonate.

No one knows yet if it is terrorist stuff or a start of blackmail or if someone was doing something stupid out of boredom...

Good thing is, since London, all know terrorist attacks have been intercepted....

Let's hope it'll continue being so, or that they will stop.

Wow, I hadn't heard anything about that. Hopefully it was someone bored & stupid.

I really wouldn't like to think that boredom could drive someone to put bombs on trains

We have enough frustrated unemployed and undereducated people here... And I bet the construction plan is from the internet...

I don't think it was terrorists, because no grouping said that they did it yet. I think it was blackmail. Kind of the same dumbos that nail metal plates to the railroad-tracks...

I know. I was just using Bere's words.
Could be some punk kids though. Things like that have happened here. Not from boredom, mind, but kids who feel unloved or unappreciated or whatever, wanting to take it out on the world.

They found one in the Mersey River in Liverpool a couple of months ago and a few have been dredged up in the Thames estuary in the last year.

One good thing about being in the US is all you might find is an old Indian arrowhead.

Be asured that they still find lots of them. No house may be build today without WWII-bomb exploration. Last year we had an evacuation in our town because of some big bastard of a bomb...

If only they had built those bombs right in the first place!
