Him and his wife look ridiculous with their orange skin:
I just can't take him (or Socialism for that matter) seriously. Nobody I know could get that tan naturally in Scotland, even with baking summers.

Fantastic result! I've always had a sneaking admiration for ol' sunbed Tommy. Listening to the NOW evidence in the first few days of the case I began to doubt his wisdom in bringing the action. After he sacked his legal team and started conducting his own defence though he buried them.
As he said, it was "the mother of all stitch ups". 
Took some balls to sack his legal team and still emerge victorious and it was great to see those scumbags at the NOTW beaten in court. Shameful the way his so called comrades tried to stick the knife in though. Always respected him for his stance regarding the Poll Tax. Good on ye Tommy.

I have my doubts about the whole thing. I have a soft spot for socialism but find myself very suspicious of actual existing socialists.
On the other hand the NOTW is a joke of paper, I'm getting heartily sick of its invented 'scoops'.
Brilliant stuff as has been mentioned, to sack yer legal team and take on the papers was a bit of a mental move. Fair play to him for winning though, offering to strip in court and his wife's wee bit about dumping him in the Clyde, pure brilliant!

My wife was at the court last week and said you could see the jurors laughing when he was interrogating the news of the world editor. I'm glad at least 7 of them felt it was their duty to stuff that paper.
Funniest quote was when his wife said that his body is so hairy that she has to get the hoover out whenever he has a bath.

Sunbed's not a Socialist, he's a career politician. And the News of the Screws is no more a Newspaper than the Dandy.
Great trial though - best bit for me was when his dolled-up wife showed us what she's really made of by threatening to chuck the boy in the Clyde.
