What book are you reading?

Yeah, I loved that book. I thought it was as good as The DaVinci Code.

I finished Angels & Deamons a week or two ago - it was average-to-decent - certainly not the best-written trash I've ever read, but reasonable 'toilet break' material

Started on DaVinci Code a few days ago - not really getting in to it at all, so far - far too similar to the last one - but I'll persevere for a bit longer & see if it gets better.

I'm only reading them 'caus they were lent to me - no way I'd waste money buying them

They are very similar. If you don't like one, you won't like the other.

I Swear I Was There - The Gig That Changed The World by David Nolan. Very interesting book with quotes by Peter Hook, Tony Wilson among others.

I would suggest you not read his book Digital Fortress, even if it is lent to you.

I love Hornby, a lot of the time he's very predictable but he manages to make it interesting along the way. I liked "A Long Way Down" when I read it (I think it came out about this time last year). I recommend it

I would suggest you not read his book Digital Fortress, even if it is lent to you.

Actually, I liked that book.

I am verily enjoying all of Lauren Child's books. I especially like What Planet are you from, Clarice Bean? and there is one about Herb, I think it is called Who's Afraid of the Big Bad book. The artwork is excellent.

It is a big long form that every household is supposed to fill out on the same night every... four years - I think...it's like a great big survey the government does to supposedly plan for everything. It asks a lot of questions about everyone who was at your house on Census night, like how old, what you do, how much money you make etc etc.
