Yep,Steven Wright who did the iconic photo of The Smiths outside the Salford Lads Club, and an even more iconic photo of Monty outside Salford Lads Club,is displaying a whole gallery of Smiths photos he's taken, mostly live stuff,at the Urbis in Manchester.Near Victoria Station.

The exhibition will open on August 30 and runs until October 16 and will be on display in Corridor Gallery.:thumb:

I think Spotnik ripped off the Strangeways photo for his Community 2 sleeve.

:evil4:

That inner sleeve photo of Johnny Marr (I think) is one of my favorite photos ever. All the carefree glamour of rock stardom.

I really do think we need a gallery dedicated to the glory years of Morrisseys career. i.e. 1992-1997. What times they were, if only i hadnt been in school for them.

Puressence in Stockport will be a fantastic opportunity to get shitfaced. You really should come. Jemma is being a wimp and saying she might not come because she's out on saturday.

Stockport however, is a shithole.

I know it is a shithole and that's one of the reasons why i don't really want to drag myself there... And anyway, got a party lined up on sunday so was thinking about monday? what do you guys think?
