James - Old Gold!

On the off chance that anyone is interested in this...

James did a Key 103 session many years ago and included a storming version of 'Don't Wait That Long". Nothing like the wishy washy version that ended up on the album - really fast and urgent with a cracking vocal by Booth. Classic James: criminal that it's been lost in time.

I had it on tape and literally played it to destruction - I've been trying for years to get hold of it and I'VE FINALLY DONE IT!

Any better version of that song is a good find in my book! Where did you locate it, inquiring minds want to know.

The guy who had it has found me another fast version - from a gig.

James LIVE are ace,so many of their tunes take on a new life when played live...The albums always sound tame after hearing the live versions to me now..I thought they were a fantastic live outfit Booth dances like a flid too,which is a bonus
