Fair play,i think its a credit to him that hes been chosen. He was very good in **Layer Cake**,and hopefully he (along with writers and the director) will make a decent spy/action film. Connery gets a load of kudos for being first,but hes played the same part all his life. Vastly over-rated.

i could see clive owen as james bond. i think he has the right mixture of tough guy and come hither stare to fit the character.

pfff who gives a toss about the latest bond film,im about to live it for real. well were having a (bond bbq)complete with marquees housing roulette table,craps table ,poker ect all the ladies in evening gowns and fellas as bond or bond villian,one of my m8s is threatening to turn up in his scuba gear which would be even cooler if my missus would have let me hire a hot tub for the weekend ,so all the ladies could have worn bikinis underneat but oh fukin no"its too cold". anyroad im off to stuff my face get lashed and shagged and i dont mind in which order.

I think he would as well.Watched INSIDE MAN the other night,I can see why he's Hollywood's new golden boy. Shame Brosnan's still not Bond though.Couldn't fault him at all,he was just let down by DIE ANOTHER DAY. The big staple in Bond films was the outrageously over the top stunts.BUT THEY WERE STUNTS THAT WERE PERFORMED.Then DIE ANOTHER DAY comes along and you get the silly CGI paraboarding,and the plane on fire which miraculously stays intact for a good quarter of an hour,just enough time to start up a helicopter in free-fall :confused2:
