If the guy was truly afraid he was going to molest again, why didn't he just kill himself and leave the poor Amish girls alone? Even terrorists would consider killing the Amish beneath them. :banghead:

On the news, they mentioned how there's no Amish police force because they don't usually need one. Unfortunately, now they do. :nonono:

Is that the cue for the "My Aimish is True" joke?

I think he did it there because he thought he would have plenty of time for himto do his evil deeds. No real police force, and no phone for miles.

I really feel terrible for his wife and kids. Must be really hard on them.

what a truly sick and twisted individual.

Shocking. For those concerned, living the way of life they do,it must be even harder to understand. No police (dont need them),no phones, cars or TV (dont want them). They must feel like,i dont know. It genuinely makes me sick.

Does anyone know by now what that was, that happened 20 years ago and that he wanted revenge for?

Yes, we all know that about Churchy.

But what about the gunman?

That's not true though.. there's no "Amish" one.. but lancaster county has a police force and the state police are there as well.

There's no municipal police forces because of the general ruralness of the area which is common in PA.

Fucking news trying to fucking spin fucking bullshit

he admitted that 20 years ago he molested some relatives.

he blamed God however for taking his daughter a few years back.

what better way to get revenge at God than punishing a God fearing community. sick.

also re: need for a police force

I don't know if this was on the news internationally or only here because I am in the area but

a couple of years ago there was a motorcycle gang/amish teenager cocaine ring that was busted out in Lancaster County.

I lolled

There was also a child sex ring busted about 7 years ago mostly perpetrated by Amish.

Theft is always a factor there--not just because of tourists or non amish in Lancaster either.

There's evil everywhere

If you're going to kill people, kill people who actually have it coming. That's why I don't mind biker wars so much, provided no innocent bystanders get hurt.

I blame the lack of focus on television, video games and the internet. Anything good on the tube tonight? :eek3:

my uncle lived in lancaster, PA for decades. i remember driving behind amish carriages with the orange reflective triangles on the back for night protection. the amish always sit far back in the carriage to avoid the cameras of gawking tourists. they keep to themselves and don't bother anyone. our 'foreign' culture comes to amish country--i imagine they'll become even more isolated now.

Maybe the guy just doesn't like kids with 6-digits on each hand.

Many people in Amish communities have genetic predispositions to be born with extra fingers and toes. Thank you, incest.

As has already been stated on here, this sort of thing happens too often.
