A little furry mouse shutdown the District and Circle line for about 40 minutes during the Tuesday evening rush hour.

He crawled onto the top of a 600 volt transformer supplying all the Signalling circuits in the South Kensington area.

A quick flash and a bang and all the breakers popped out, putting all the Signals back to Danger.

Doesn't surprise me that something like this would happen. Interesting though, since I don't have subways from where I am.

Brazil eh. Luton Legge pls. looking forward to any photo evidence from the November trip.

ananova.com ran an article on an electrocuted mouse a while back. Today the site has a note about the Louisville, Kentucky Six flags amusement park having a Hallowe'en special to eat a Madagascar cockroach. :-(

Poor little thing - surprised that his eyes haven't popped out!

Did you actually take this pic or had he been removed when you started your shift??
