Justin's gone.

Apparently they want to carry on, but can't see it myself.

Do you really care? If he goes solo he`ll be to Rod Stewart what Robbie Williams is to George Michael.

I`ve just got 4 shite artists into one sentence, and claim my £40!

Permission to Land is a pretty good album.

Interesting to see how public tastes can change so quickly. All over the place in 2004, now (pretty much) finished.

Still...... could'nt have come at a better time for him realy.... what with Panto season just around the corner.I can see it now, Justin Hawkins performing along side The Crankies.

The Darkness are the sort of band if you sat them down and showed them Spinal Tap would not get the joke.

Sad fucks, glad they're gone!

This is my nomination for post of the year. And I'd also like to state that Goldie Lookin Chain's "You Mother's Got A Penis" is a "pretty good" rap song and should be up there with "Fight The Power", "The Message" and "Fuck Tha Police" as one of the defining moments in the evolution of hip hop.

Laugh all you want, I'll still stand by it.

And 'Guns Don't Kill...' is a better GLC number.

Damn amazing he has any nose lining etc. left...

ok "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" is a great guilty pleasure song. But a whole album of that gets repetetive.

My first thought when I saw them was "Damn they're about 15 years too late."

and "the 80s as retro cool brought us this? Yikes"

They were doing all three on their last lives gigs: Darkness, Carlisle, Bon Jovi.

Try and track down their complete Peel gig / radio broadcast from the summer of 2004. There's a fantastic version on there.

Now, imagine if the two of them got together and made a record....

Every studio mixing desk across the world should be shaking in fear.....

Doesn't matter - made a record, made a baby.

Either way, the end result is a human catastrophe of gigantic proportions isn't it?

Too f***ing right Ally. I never liked this Queen tribute band bunch of lame f***'s ever since they were hyped up to astonomic proportions in 2003. BTW their s***e Xmas 2003 song was 'Don't Let The Bells End' (sic) was pretty apt for this bunch of talentless d***heads! Rant over cheers!:thumb:
