41 pounds of cocaine seized

FROM STAFF REPORTS

Saturday, October 14, 2006

Two Dallas County residents were arrested Thursday on Interstate 20 in Gregg County in possession of more than 41 pounds of cocaine, police said.

Nikia Mitchell, 32, of Mesquite, and Resunda Morrow, 28, of Dallas, were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance. They remained in jail Friday under $100,000 bond.

According to law enforcement reports, a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped the couple's vehicle for traffic violations about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to caselaw.lp.findlaw.com, a kilogram of cocaine is worth about $27,000 to $35,000 on the black market, rendering the amount found in the vehicle worth about $513,000 to $665,000.

 Actually, contrary to the ahem "medical" opinions of certain members of the Londinium Order, I rather suspect that exposing me to such things would.....well have you seen "over the hedge"? (or for that matter "hoodwinked", they share the theme of small furry mammalian things being exposed to stimulants, with horrific(ly amusing) consequences.

Blah....pointless bit.....

Then again since the problem appears to be something akin to burn out, maybe you ARE on to something.......I'm off to find a Shire horse size nosebag, wont be a tick ;)

Seriously tho, hands have been halted, hands about to tip the party spoon full of cheapskates wakeup powder (that other shit only hapened in LA in them days  ) into my drink...."none for him, it's a Bad Thing, trust me"........14 hours later when I was still talking shite, and those who HAD had the wonderspoon ( and the obligatory nasal doses) were praying for a quick death, ANY death, to escape my hyper lunacy....THEN they understood.

The thing is, music (particularly) makes me loopy, high as a bastard, and I think maybe, in my idle time, ...how to put it....all my circuit breakers have been reset to a lower level, and I just fry out. Grrrr

"Officer, you've got it all wrong. We just wanted to have some fake snow for the kids to play in at the local elementary school, come this Christmas. They never get to have a white Christmas, and we just think that's a crying shame..." :nervous:

On the topic of Scarface: I'm sorry, but this is the most overrated film ever. It's fun maybe the first, second time you see it. Then it just gets to be "the Al Pacino School for Over-Acting", which is part of the point to be sure. But personally, I could go the rest of my life without seeing it again and be happy

I do pity the cockaroaches, though :p

With all due respect, Tabbsy, Scarface is one of the best movies ever and Pacino was damn good in it. :shades:
