What kind? It makes a difference.

I can shoot the smooth clear "silver" stuff (like Patrón) all night and it's a complete waste of money.

The cheap stuff or reposado/añejo stuff will usually more likely bring the desired effect. I'm a fan of José Tradicionál or Herradura, myself.

Also, I don't get it chilled, but warm out of the bottle... that way it's not diluted. No salt or lime, either... that's a gringo thing.

I wish I couldn't get drunk. The last time I was in Philly for a friend's birthday, I had way too many vodka drinks - at her house and then at the club - and was passed out in front of the club Shampoo the next time I was conscious.

Happens to me far too often. Sister's wedding... 6pints guiness, 2 large glasses of red wine, a glass of champers and a quadruple plum-vodka....barely tiddly. Same thing on my b'day a coupla years ago, despite matching my mates 2 for one, I ended up going home cos I was too sober to cope with all the drunks.

However, this syndrome has a flip side, one night you'll have 3 drinks and be completely fannied. I got quite shattered on one tin of Harp not so long ago, very worrying.

It depends on what you have eaten, what you are drinking, who you are with and what drugs you are on!

Some days I can drink a couple of bottles of wine and be fairly straight, other times i might just have a glass or two and i'm totally pissed.

Am I still drunk now? Have i even been to bed yet?

True, but I have the added dimension of a coupla years of all sorts of legal pills ( yuk!), PLUS working nights, which sods several of the body's systems up a treat. LOL any wonder I signed the pledge on my whole October mission, had 2 sips in manchester when I arrived, and it almost crawled back up my throat, so I gave up there and then. Seeing as I forgot to eat for 3 days, I reckon a good lashing session may well have been.... A. easily and cheaply achieved B. short lived C. devoid of any New Order (or related) performances D. ill advised

my scouser is currently wrecked and dancing around the apartment in his underwear singing (screaming) along with patsy cline on his mp3 player (which is clipped to his undies).

it's too amusing

but also sad

especially when I have to think of waking him up in 3 hours to get him to the pub to watch liverpool/city it's only on satellite tv and if he misses it somehow it's going to be my fault..

I had 2 pints of the black stuff,and 2 bottles of lager last night.This morning i've got the hangover from hell.

yeah i didn't think 1:0 was quite fair beings as tho both teams played shit.

But Barton fuckin gave Stevie G. the ball 20 yards clear and said "please to score against our old decrepit keeper". What a maroon.
