Anyone got any decent footage?
I have When We Were Kings, but am looking for other stuff, I do have a video featuring stuff from the very early days, called Cassius Clay - but it's not much cop.
Anyone who can help out, send me a mail and I'll sort you out with some New Order stuff or such like

Nah it isnae. I watched The Rumble In The Jungle last night, and it sparked my interest in Ali again. I have been browsing a few sites and am after any fights / documentaries that anyone may have. I remember taping 4 hours of stuff from the BBC a few years ago for his 60th birthday, but having dug that video out, the sound on it is totally fcuked. Which is gutting cos I had some great stuff on that tape 
I have The Ali V Norton Trilogy somewhere and The Ali v Frazier trilogy all on Vhs original.. I'll see if I can dig them out,and drop I'll you an email Shug. Got When we were kings on DVD(Ali Bumb I ay!).Plus numereous books.
Did have reels and reels of footage,which I've taped over or lost.:( I'm a lifelong fan of the man.Will see what I can sort out though
Have a look on Ebay aswell.I picked up Roy Jones Jr's entire career on DVD for £17 on about 9 discs I think.Good quality too..
Did you see ALI's fight with Cleveland Williams in his prime? Best performance I've ever seen.

Indeed, I've been a fan since I first saw him on TV, I can remember the last two or three fights, even though I would only have been 5 or 6 at the time and he was at his worst. The BBC used to show highlights of him quite a lot in the early 80's, particularly the stuff with him and Carpenter / Frost interviews.
Anything you can sort out will be fookin ace mate - I can easily transfer the videos to DVD and sort you out with copies. I think clips of the Williams fight may well be on the Cassius Clay aka Ali video I have, I will have to dig that out and look at it again tonight

Bought some trainers t'other week (Adidas) with M. Ali down the side. you can borrow them if you want Shuglet :D
