I'm afraid from my point of view mince pies are second in the Christmas delight league, Stollen Slices will never be beaten.

erm...I don't know about the mince pie...they aren't exactly commonplace, at least not here in Texas...

so I've got no idea...

Not really. If you want to start a fight, just ask a Texan and a Southerner which Bar-B-Q is better.

MMmmmmmmmmm mince pies:bow: I run the guts out of meself every year with these - make my own, just to feed the habbit, cause the Tesco ones don't have enough mince in them. I've only had 12 so far this 'season', but there's plenty of time left:D

Well Kershie...not necessarily...Texans are brought up on beef BBQ , specifically, the brisket (which, when cooked by a skilled person) is the best thing on this earth. "Southerners" will usually use pork, and I have heard rumor that they even use vinegar on the meat...YIKES!!!

I have been converted to pork ribs, as opposed to beef ribs...beef ribs are too damn difficult to eat...but they can keep the rest of their pork shit...

Yeah mince pies are the tastiest of tasty treats!

Most of the ones in the supermarkets just aren't right, apart from the ones from Sainsburys.

The best are the ones me mum makes:nod: :thumb:

isn't there a difference between the sweetness too? like one is more bitter than the other?

Cheese hoagies. I miss getting one with provelone cheese, lots of hot peppers, and oil and oregano from any Wawa in Philly and washing it down with a bottle of Canada Dry cream soda.

New Englanders don't know hot to put oil on their sandwiches.
