Go on then... which idiots have go them up now.

Has anyone noticed, the twats who put them up early are the most tasteless cunts on the planet.

There is a council estate near me and half the houses have had them up for weeks. It must cost them an arm and a leg to run the lights, although they're probably wired up to the nearest lamp post.

Tacky.

I had a Christmas Tree shaped cake after lunch today.

Chez BRF is adorned on the interior..3 fucking trees.

Mrs BRF is radjed and loves Crimbo :\ohwell:

Incidently,I'm really struggling about what to get her this year. Any ideas?(not a tree though, she has them coming out of her ears,as previously mentioned)

Ask your kids to find out in a subtle way. Better to get her something she wants than to go out on a limb.

Try to avoid ironing board covers, clothes/lingerie in the wrong size, slippers, marigolds.

Who says I took mine down from last year?

Nah, I don't actually have any at all in my house, plus I have no desire to spend more of my money on useless stuff like that.

The only thing worse than putting them up early is leaving them up too long.

well, I spent part of Saturday, stringing up lights all across the front of the house...Marcus bought those new fangled LED lights, and fuck me, they are BRIGHT...one of the jets from the Airport accidentally landed on our street...Stephanie was quite happy when she arrived home from work Saturday night, and she saw that the two lazy fuckers had actually got the lights hung...mind you, Marcus didn't do anything besides saying what a good job I was doing, and offering to bring me a beer or two, but I told him to fuck off, as I wasn't going to drink beer while crawling up and down a ladder and walking on the roof...

Steph and I put the tree up last Tuesday....

as a reward for all of my hard work, I slipped the dinner bill to Marcus on Saturday night, used his cash to pay the bar tab when the three of us and that girl with the funny Irish name went out on Saturday night...

So why was he mad at me on Sunday??? I used his money to buy breakfast on Sunday morning...I thought I was being a frigging gent!!!
