LONDON (AFP) - Harrods has sacked a Father Christmas for his offensive remarks, the world-famous London department store has said.

The sinning Santa had his contract torn up after two complaints from customers visiting the Father Christmas World grotto at the store in west London's plush Knightsbridge district.

He had asked one family of South Asian origin whether they should be shopping at a less prestigious supermarket instead, Metro newspaper reported Wednesday.

He also asked in a lewd fashion whether their teenage daughter fancied staying and sitting on his knee, it said.

A Harrods spokesman told AFP the Father Christmas involved had made "inappropriate" comments to customers Monday but stressed these did not involve racial abuse.

"Harrods holds its customers and their enjoyment of the store in the very highest esteem, so having received a few complaints relating to the treatment of adult family members visiting our Christmas grotto, we promptly sought to identify the cause of the problems," the department store said.

"We were able to identify the individual in question and having investigated the complaint thoroughly we terminated his seasonal contract on Tuesday.

"There is no excuse for causing any level of complaint amongst our customers -- and even if the remarks were made in good humour, we cannot condone behaviour that offends our customers."

ya know, if you ever develop anything that remotely resembles a sense of humor, you will be fucking dangerous!!!

For your meritorious pointing out of WHERE Japan is, I will give you a field promotion from Captain Obvious to the rank of General...unless you prefer to be a seaman (tee hee, Jeff said semen), in which case, you will be promoted to Admiral Obvious.

Now, believe it or not, an ignorant ,redneck heyseed from Texas knows where Japan is. My degree from Texas A&M includes a double major in history and political science, as well as minors in economics, sociology and geography. Who said going to school for seven years would never pay off?

So go on...call me a cracker...see if I give a rat's ass...

Funny, I thought "MJ" meant Michael Jackson. Though I could see where confusion between the two would come from.

Cram it. You're expert at that, I presume? Not at all but you are making a few basic errors and as you are struggling with following the Eight Fold path; I thought I'd try to help here's a few pointers on where you seem to trip up

1.) Writing crass comments then quickly editing them is not really obeying Step two the Right Resolve. One must renounce all desires and any thoughts like lust, bitterness, and cruelty. He must harm no living creature. (Top tip Remember you never know who might see the first post)

2.) Altering peoples Quotes :nono: tsk Step three is the Right Speech. One must speak only truth. There can be no lying, slander, or vain talk (Top tip try to remember you're not a moderator)

3.) Aren't you training to be a lawyer or something....surely that smashes Step five the Right Occupation. One must work in an occupation that benefits others and harms no one. to pieces along with a few others steps too:evil4: (perhaps think about a career change...I hear McDonald's are always after staff)

4.) Calling people names :nonono:really doesn't help you with Step six the Right Effort. One must seek to eliminate any evil qualities within and prevent any new ones from arising. One should seek to attain good and moral qualities and develop those already possessed. Seek to grow in maturity and perfection until universal love is attained.(Top tip act your age you are a lot closer in age to being an oap than you are a teenager)

5.) Not being able to let things drop...and brooding on them til an opportune moment kinda gets in the way of Step seven the Right Contemplation. One must be observant, contemplative, and free of desire and sorrow. (Top tip remember your breathing exercises ........ best start them right this second... before the nasty throbbing vein in your head pops.)

deep breaths

Hope this advise helps you on your road to nirvana :thumb:

And now I'm Done you carry on if you want but I'm bored:yawn:
