I just noticed that they have made another Rocky film, where an old man in his fifties takes on a young pretender for the World Boxing title etc etc blah..
Is this stretching credibility? or a film for geriatric wannabes?

In order to pump up interest, the film has been recut to have Rocky facing Britney Spears in the ring

In all seriousness, I think Rocky, especially 1 and 2, were fantastic. So I will have to go and see this, even though i'm pretty sure it will be a complete joke. When is it out over here?

Foreman would have been 55 years old if he fought in 04. And he could have, and probably won.
So I guess my point is the new Rocky movie is totally unrealistic 
Lennox Lewis was champ in 2004 and big George knew at 55 years old he would'nt have a hope against him.George said so himself,and was waiting for Lewis to retire he said at the time..It was a big hoax on Foreman's part...But immense credit for his first triumphant comeback in 94 is due to Foreman,when the whole world thought it was a joke.

I saw the poster the last time I went to the movies. Just how many Rocky movies do we really need? I'm glad I didn't have to bear watching the trailer for it when I went to the cinema. I did see the trailer on YouTube last night though. Sure everyone loves an underdog story, but I'm skeptical about this one. 
Really seems like the same story line as the last one.....but instead of him training a new younger punk, he's training a son or something?
