Jane Buchanan. She's dead now. Car crash in Madagascar, only two weeks after I'd got back in touch with her having not seen her since we left school. Life's too short sometimes.
Andrea Baines, when I used to go to school at Larkholme High School in Fleetwood.Couldn't concentrate!

Anyone remember Cover up??
Unfortunately died on the set. Shot himself with a gun. Bugger!
The first was a girl in kindergarten in Lakes Entrance. (i was her age) I call her Becky as I can't remember her real name. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. All the others have been brunettes, well mostly.
Brad. He was my next door neighbor when I was 6/7 yrs old. I saw him again in 2004 when I was 23. He didn't remember me, which made me sad. I pinned him down to the ground when I was 7 and was going to kiss him, but was too afraid to because I thought my parents would catch us....ah, memories...
Peter (?) he was a footballer I remember that much........but he lived in my Nan's sideboard. ![]()
That could possibly explain a LOT!![]()
Would it have been Peter Collins? ![]()
Cos that was my teddy bear's name as well!
We are talking late 60's/early 70's? Maybe ![]()

Then it all must have been a Dallas dream?
Ah,in that case.........Les (somebody or other) Bay City Rollers. He couldn't fit in the sideboard at the same time as Peter..........so he just hung on my wall instead. ![]()
Mum rang both WM Police, who in turn contacted CID, and they both agreed that in fact, it was the best place for him! So......all's well that ends well.
Kay Something or Other (always been terrible with names), grade-school infatuation. She gave me a Valentine's card one year, not knowing that it would set me up for almost twenty years of misery (that, or the fact that I dropped the ball as far as seeing if she wanted to hold hands, which was the extent of our sexual activity back then. We're talking ten-year-olds, awkward and clumsy ones at that). ![]()
After that it was Marsha Henson, who was actually very unpleasant now that I think about it (a certain word resembling "witch", which I will let the other less gentlemanly fellows supply). Then came puberty, acne, and the dark times known as "Middle School" ![]()
To quote Kurtz, "the horror, the horror!" ![]()
Nice one Trev !
I know what yer mean about feeling Clumsy as a youngster, happy times though and thanks for jogging my own memory ![]()

Clumsy as a youngster? Hell, I still feel that way sometimes (I managed to knee myself in my own groin while typing this response
)
I think I've gotten better at being with the opposite sex in the intervening years since, though. ![]()
I also had quite the thing for Janey Garcia in Kindergarten. And in third grade, Patty Luna, who cornered me on the way home one day and tried to kiss me. Even though I really wanted to kiss her too, I ran.
Much later, I got into A Flock of Seagulls...

Jan leadbetter in primary school...he was a year older and a friend of my brothers...
I remember my brother had a dukes of hazard stunt car for his birthday and I was sat at the top of our stairs right next to Jan as he sent it flying down the stairs and I dutifully ran down and brought it back to him again and again...
I was too shy to say anything to him and ended up stuck with a snotty kid playing the same game cos I pretended I liked playing with the bloody toy.![]()
Changed my attitude on life though, ever since I have always taken chances rather than stay quiet. And I've regretted the chance I missed far more than I've regretted any of the mistakes I've made.
Got in touch with him over the web a while back, just before his wedding day actually lol He sent a couple of pics and he was still gorgeous.
Joanne Kelly. A year above me all through school, even ended up buying house's in the same street. She's a year older than me so 36 now and still single-she must be a fucking nightmare to have a relationship with or she'd be married by now?
So she's a bit older now, but she was the most beautiful thing my eyes had ever seen 24 years ago...I didn't really give a shit about girls until I met Jackie...then I was a regular at the girls basketball and volleyball matches (kind of like a wee stalker, even)...then we went off to seperate schools, and that was that...
I actually ran into her at a restaurant on one of my visits back home this summer, and was quite shocked that she remembered me at all, much less recognized ME...seeing as I had a hard time even muttering two words to her back then...
I would have quite enjoyed it if SHE had been my first kiss...ah well...
J.F. in the seventh grade- he was a shy, quiet guy, so I had secretly delivered him a carnation with a small note (we had a secret admirer thing in school where students deliver carnations to their objects of affection). After that, he had been avoiding me.
Then...
J.W.- he was a senior and I was a freshman, nothing can be done.
M.H.- both of us were seniors. Anyway, he was also the quiet type. I was a bit crushed when I found out he had a girlfriend, but I was fine with it at the same time. Looking back, the fact that he barely talked and that he didn't smile in his yearbook pic scares me. He reminds me of a young Robert De Niro (sadly, when he acted in "Mean Streets" and "Taxi Driver"; disturbing, huh?).
Now, that I look back... Why did I ever have crushes on these people in the first place?
My celebrity crushes were hundred times better than them, until...
It was in 4th grade, her name was Julie.
And obviously, as usually, I was competely unable to talk to her.
Unfortunately I moved to a private school the next year.
Damn shyness... god bless the internet and instant messaging... help cowards like me to get women ![]()

Second grade through sixth, a girl named Karen. When I was in sixth grade, I got the guts up to visit her at her house a few times, where we talked in her living room on occassions.
Can't remember why I stopped going.![]()
