Never met her Commie.. She's prolly out all the time using her 'social skills' etc. Not posting on a website dedicated to a band in their fifties.

That would explain why you've never met her then. :evil4:

But you so would if you could.

She lives about a mile from me and drinks in a pub I frequent. I've seen her across the bar, but stargazing is not my kinda thing, let alone hopeless dreaming.

If I did get so lucky she's more than half my age which is always a comfort.

Stargazing?

Some here wouldn't waste time with stargazing when they could make her see stars.

Uh, but that would bring out the anti-paedo patrol in the Reynolds neighbourhood... :uhoh:

I'll thank you not to make fun of my blindness. As a visibly impaired person with disabilities, I take great offense at your insinuation. Furthermore, I demand that you change your private life to no longer make reference to mommy figures. After c. 420 BCE, I was constantly referred to as a 'motherfucker' by people on the bus. Don't cry for me. I'm a victim.

No, that would be Popesy.

Pope, there is a difference in sounding like a Greek philosopher and this guy...

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Greek dramatist, actually. Which quite deliberately brings me back to the original point: even Keeley's read the classics.

Or have you not heard that Popesy's shacking up with Mrs. Robinson?

Or that he lost his cherry to her-- quite publicly, here on NOOL-- when he was just a lad?

Last year... :evil4:

6 years' age difference doesn't really compare to the 42 years or however many it is between NOOL's latest hot couple.

That'll be difficult considering she's probably still trying to wrap her head around one too many pointed Sophocles references. Good thing she's never heard of Euripedes. :read:

Sure it does. If dating a twenty-something woman makes someone a paedo in this bizarro world, then 6 year's age difference is fair-game for Mrs. Robinson comparisons.

Why don't you regale us again with your daily blow-by-blow-- excuse the pun-- accounts of your very public cherry-popping. For those who missed it the first time.

FYI, I have heard of Euripedes... I read "Medea":read:

Closest I could find is Gary Mabbutt, he's a week older than me. The Edge from U2 is a week or so older than that, while Virginia Madsen is a couple of weeks younger than me.

Also fairly close (a month or so) is Jim Reid ( Jesus & Mary Chain), Amy Sedaris, and Richard Linklater (no wonder I laugh so much at Dazed & Confused).

I'd recommend "Electra." Sure to be a good one-handed read.

To get this thread back on topic just for a second, I share my birthday with Elijah Wood. Same day, same year.
