Christmas Turkey

8kg which is about 17lbs if the maths is correct.. Got a piece of beef an all Feeding eight..Busy day for the kitchen staff.

Only 5.5kg.. but it is only for four of us... We have beef too..

We're doing the traditional Christmas Store-Bought Lasagna

Lots of mouths to feed, plus Ham with which I will do something interesting in the evening.

I bought 3 poussin (small baby Chickens) and a ham - approx 2kg. for 3 people. Should be enough since the wife is a vegetarian and has got her own nut roast. Not really fussed on turkey, but I do like those sausages wrapped up in bacon.

No one is having a turducken?

We're not having a turkey...or a ham. We'll be making tacos, tostadas, and burritos. A nod to our grandparents (RIP), it'll be our first holiday without the either of them, they both enjoyed fixing them for us many, many times over the years.

Usually it's about a 25 pound turkey and a 12 pound ham though.

Turkey's for Thanksgiving....Christmas ham for us ( good ten pounder)

w have a fifteen pounder,organic,hand reared (how can you hand rear a bird???),just means it costs more. also got a salmon and ham ect,looking forward to it in fact.

$ 3 small frozen turkey from Wal-Mart. Boneless and skinless.
