used to love listening to the festive 50's.1979 was the best for me.great that,cant be sure - sundays,came out top one year as well

Used to love listening to that.Plenty of NO and COCTEAU TWINS in there,plus HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT.Didn't mind that he used to have the BHUNDU BOYS on his undies!

Apparently, after the Beeb decided not to continue with the Festive 50 this year Dandelion Radio (er, who?) have taken it upon themselves to do it this year.

Er, but won't be announcing it till February.

Which is hardly 'festive', now is it?

And pooh to the beeb for bailing on it. And after me paying me TV license with a smile today "it's OK, they're not wasting it all any more, now that the Doc is back"...PAH!

I thought his label was Strange Fruit Recordings.At least thats' what all the BBC sessions came out on.

Yeah, true, but his previous label was Dandelion (in the 60's/70's) - whether it's the same Dandelion, I dn't know? :)
