Some idiot already sued McDonalds for getting him fat

Seriously, some people should seriously consider it's not the state's business to take care of them... and some state should remember that when they legislate against things that should be private decisions...

i 'd like a frickin policy that kept dumb ass laws from being enacted, land of the free my ass. maybe next we'll be forced to only have babies from clone factories. can't smoke, can't eat, can't breathe, can't drink. i want a darn law that tells me what kind of toilet paper to use so i don't get hemroids. i want all cell phones to be solar powered. SUV's should be banned and their owners shot. the RIAA should be able to sue me for hearing music in an elevator. soon this post will be illegal because the server is in canada.

the week between Christmas and New Years is traditionally a slow news time-so we get stuff like this....to get a visceral reaction

My counseling training tells me that no one forces me to eat that Big Mac, Mondo Whopper Gulp or whatever. It comes down to decisions and their consequences. If I suck down a ton of fast food sliders and swim in Big Gulps, my health will be in a bad way.

People who are willing to abdicate such personal responsibility scare me. What do we give up next?
