Superb series at that time.I wonder if 10 years on it will have the same impact though.I can't believe it is 10 years since it was first aired.Must remember to watch this tonight.Next week SHAMELESS is back too.Hope they don't clash though! 
Ferdy was mates with an old work colleague of mine. Well, he probably still is. He's Tanita Tikaram's brother (wtf ever happened to her?)
Lad I was at school with was in it too. Played a druggy called Truelove in a couple of episodes.
Can't believe Egg is (arguably) the most famous of the lot now!

Anyway, MUMINOIL was a big fan first time round and she tuned in and said it was shite. 'A load of grown-ups behaving like kids' would be a fair synopsis of her review.

I only watched the first 15 mins of this and then listened to the Villa v CHELSEA game.NOTHING did happen.I must admit that nothing EVER really happened in the original series but i did enjoy certain bits.THIS LIFE turned out rather DULL this time.
As the good Doctor said it always was a bunch of pretentious, London-centric bollocks. Was worth an hour a week out my not-so-busy life ten years ago though.
Last night was unbearable. Summed up by the reprise of poncey Egg singing loudly to "chart indie" while doing the washing up as he used to do in almost every episode. Full marks for continuity though.....ten years ago it was utter shite like Reef and Ocean Coulour Scene he was singing along to, last night it was the utterly shite and utterly obvious Killers.
