When it first aired, me and Leanne were musing about what "grown up" Dr Who would be like. We reckoned it would be like Dr Who, but really predictable and full of same-sex kissing.

it varied between bearable and quite good.
To be honest, having watched the "children's" Sarah Jane Adventures, and the final 2 parts of the "adult" Tourchwood, I know which one I'D call the more inventive, original and interesting, and I'll have to start taping it off CBBC.

Ahh shite! I forgot it was last episode tonight.Not seen it for a few weeks.Started off alright,thought the lesbian snog and the alien "Came and went" murders felt a bit sensationalist,I think the reson why I went off it,was...erm...Captain Jack come across too much of a smug twat.
I missed Sarah-Jane as well.Was K-9 in it?

I saw that Sarah Jane Smith thing or whatever it was. Bit wierd....and i hope they don't do any more bloody spinoffs....

Yes, her amazing dog was in it, but only briefly, to more or less make his excuses for the upcomming series.
And yes, no more spinoffs thanks, just keep making more Doctor.
BTW....BBC R7 are airing an EXCELLENT Paul McGann audio series at the minute, made by Big Finish, "Blood of the Daleks". Paul is a fucking awesome Dr, and was SO shrtchanged by only being actually SEEN in that retarded ( ie American) tv movie, which oddly enough also featured 10 mins Sly McCoy being BRILLIANT.
The audio series by BF are far better than any TV episode, better effects :D
Was impressed that the Beeb brought Sarah Jane's Sonic lippy over from her audio series.

Got one of those remote controlled K-9's for Christmas. Er for the little one.
Should have got the Dalek.
Didn't like Torchwood at all.
Tuned in once or twice to witness a big-mouthed American twat bossing around all the Briddish folk.
Isn't there enough of that going on with our leaders already? 
Bit disappointed with the ending last night, was looking forward to Cardiff getting levelled.

And the distinctive sound of the dematerialization circuits of a type40 time capsule were heard at the very end of the last episode and Jack vanished.
He actually travelled with the Doc for a while, was exterminated, and Rose brought him back using the energy of the vortex, so now apparently he cannae die.

fuck its shite,i love sci fi,but even i cant suspend belief enough to imagine,im actually sighing as i type this. who in their right fucking mind pitched this series in cardiff,FOOKIN CARDIFF??? give me a fookin break. you just know whats happened with this series dont ya. at the pitch it was based in either ,paris,new york or london,at this point the beeb execs scrunch their faces and say errrm well we like the idea but,couldnt you rewrite it so we could base it somewhere ,yknow,cheaper. cardiff wat a laff,if someone got a blowjob in a bus stop in cardiff it would make front page news,never mind aliens ect. more shite from the beeb.

Same team who done the recent Dr, hence several cardiff based Dr's (unquiet dead, boomtown).
