Gotta be "When The Levee Breaks" you're thinking of. Somewhere in the great expanse of the internet is a series of rehersal recordings where you can hear Bonham's playing up close and persaonal. The man was a mosnter! :drummer: I'll post it if I can find it again.

5 mins with PYsoulseek (the linux soulseek, written in Python, hence the name, and yes python is so called cos the authors were huge monty python heads)....and I can confirm that it WAS Kashmir I was thinking of, although the drums on the version I found were a bit wimpy compared to what I have heard before. Also gave when the levee breaks a go too...fuck me those are BIGGGGG DRUUUUMMMS All natural too :D

BTW in my search I also found a version of kashmir performed on.... the C64 soundchip.

PS, it's a fair bet that those drum out takes will be meeting my sampler in the near future, even if it's only for single drumstrikes.

I was brought up on Led Zeppelin and absolutely love it. When I got old enough to choose my 'own' music, it just so happened to be JD followed by NO.

Over The Hills and Far Away (that opening acoustic solo-drool) Since I've Been Loving You In my Time of Dying Heartbreaker (that riff....) When The Levee Breaks (that drum break launched a LOT of rap songs)
