Faulty pregnancy Kits

Any lasses here ever had a test come back positive,when they are not really pregnant?

I have ridiculously powerfull sperm apparently,which my missus has conceived twice while on the pill.

Hoping its not happened again right now,but she got a positive show on one of those tests from Poundland,but has since come on Red Flag week.

Anyone know what the fuck is going on???I'm shitting it.The last thing I need is another baby right now...

It's not uncommon for a woman to get a positive result early on and then get her period...it's basically likely that she was pregnant but that the pregnancy was not viable.

maybe get her indoors on the coil...

EDIT: get her to do another test to be sure though as I have a friend who had her monthlies throughout all of her 3 pregnancies.

I've never had to do a pregnancy test in my life. I've always been extremely careful. When I decide that I'm ready for children I will do something about it. I certainly don't want to be faced with decisions if 'caught'.

My chosen method of contraception is 99% positive, although many people I know (who take it religously) have still fallen pregnant.

Oh and apparently it's always best to pay for a more expensive/reliable test than have the worry and it being unfounded.

My mate had been married for 3 years and they decided not to have kids, so he went and had the snip, two weeks later she sued for divorce got half the house (she got the inside he got the outside) then went and had 3 kids to a shopkeeper.

Another friend was born into a Catholic family and was the fifth child. Her dad said enough's enough I'm off for the snip and made an appointment. HE went to the pub the night before he was due in and decided to have one last go for old times sake and now there's six of them.

I heard its possible to have a false positive.. I think thats the technical term.. there's a hormone that some women produce naturally and can cause the test to be positive even if they aren't pregnant... has she ever had a negative test?

Of course the other question that might open a can of worms: She is REALLY taking the pill right?

I've known a few mates that wives wanted more children and told their husbands that they were taking the pill.......

Poundsaver has its uses. I reckon you need to shop elsewhere for that kinda thang, young man.

SLH wow to the tales. Cousins once removed are twins bringing the total of (grown kids) unexpectantly to four instead of three. Now the twins have each! married and both happily have their second youngin'.

Boaty best of Luck either way. The price of Uni nowadays and the extension you might be needing for the house. The Birthcontrol pills that our parents were taking certainly aren't the same ones we've got but still. Off to the Dr.s for a clear test. Pretty hop scotch, eh.
