He's got his own gig in Vegas? Sinatra must be turning in his grave. ![]()
Knocked out in the 3rd.
I was thinking of going out to watch it but most bars charge insane covers for fights..
and i really don't care THAT much..
It'll be short enough to be on youtube i'm sure :P
I'll be watching it in Row T of the North section. The town's full of Brits, good atmosphere building up. And the legend that is Jim Watt was on our flight over ![]()
Fuck - forgot you were over there. I trust you're enjoying yourself.
Enjoy the fight then, jammy get.

Jammy get.
I've been to a few of his tear-ups in England, always a good night out.
A few of the lads from T'steel mill are there. No chance of me getting a pass off the missus to go to Vegas tho.
Ricky is my fave fighter..He's struggling to get a proper English fry up over there,he says the yanks look at him like he is daft when he asks for black puddin and the bacon is like plastic. ![]()
I love this lad, what a contrast to our other export Beckham.
Good luck Ricky,we'll be cheering back home ![]()
Really really hope he gets the Mayweather, defining fight he craves to cement his legacy one day soon an all![]()
I have seen him fight once or twice and I like the guy. You get your money's worth.
Seeing Hatton fight is like watching Rocky. The Hitman makes the most with what he has. Not super big, not super fast-just a high energy scrapper. Constantly up on you and a LOT of action and punches.
BTW the fight will be on HBO at about 10 pm EST in the States so I figure I'll watch and kick back a frosty beverage
now why the fuck is Urango dancing around like he won the bout???
At best, he won 5 rounds...that leaves 7 for Hatton...and I'd still say it's probably 9 rounds to 3...
wow...119 to 109...that gives Hatton 11 rounds...
guess that's why I'm not a boxing judge...
Not a great fight, but job done against a guy who looked at least 2 weight divisions bigger than Hatton..
Ricky's stamina looked to be giving out in the last 3 rounds.Time he started living the life between fights if he's to stay at the top for long..You can't continue to blow up 3 stones betwen fights, and expect to shed so much weight and keep yer strength and stamina.Maybe when he was younger he could get away with it and talent would see him through, but at 28 and against world class fighters, it will catch up with him if he does'nt get a grip of his weight.
