Most under-rated band of the 80's IMO. Two fantastic albums then sort of drifted away. Gift was an actor for a bit, then nothing. Where are they? Why don't they come back?

Top 5 (I suppose)

As Hard as it Is Don't Look Back I'm Not The Man I Used To Be Suspicious Minds The one that goes "you going away, is definite, don't be stupid no I'm not upset, have you got, all you need, some clothes to wear and a book to read."

And loads more.

But where are they now?

Come on, let's have a heated debate!

Fine Young Cannibals version of Ever Fallen in Love - right or wrong?

I love it as much as the original - brings out a new dimension in the song and is different enough to complement rather than swamp the Buzzers version.

(Youtube has a couple of versions for the ignorant)

'Blue' was a top song.Probably the best anti Thatcher song ever written.

Think they dropped Roland Gift and became Two Men & A Drum Machine. Seem to remember they had a track called Tired Of Getting Pushed Around.

Can't say I was ever into them (FYC) thought this was another thread about eating people. But best anti-thatcher song... No chance too many better bands/better songs including this... Enjoy...
