I have 3 cats. Martin, Little Joe and Zader. I named my cat Martin after Martin Gore of Depeche Mode. Zader is the gothic cat being that he is all black. Any thoughts on pets of your own for discussion?

My baby - Alfie

I would love a dog, but I just don't have the time at the moment to commit to walking it every morning and night.

Think I'll get some fish next.

Thanks for your picture of Alfie. That picture rocks! Hey you should name one of your fish that you may get Big B after me.

My fish will be named Hooky and Barney

We used to have a hamster called Barney. Named after the great darts player of course. Sadly he checked out in early 2005 after a long and happy life.

We've got a dog...she's fucking psychotic...she's called Abbie...not sure why...it's so sweet though...she pisses the floor when I get home...so yeah...I get to clean up a puddle of piss when I come home...every fucking day...

and you thought kids were bad...at least they'll wear diapers!!!

My sisters (rescue) dog used to do that, she was abused when she was a pup and no matter how kind they were it was a habit she could never break. They ended up having to let her go.

Have 1 cat that moved in with me because it's previous owners were insane. For some reason she has to be the center of attention whenever I'm trying to get anything done...

We used to have two Yorkies, named Chelsea & Mindy. a couple of toys like the pic below. they both died in the end of liver cancer. I wonder if feeding them tinned Cat Food instead of Dog food their whole lives had something to do with. they hated dog food.

I prefer big dogs normally but those two are gorgeous

loud bastards they were. Chelsea broke her hip when she was a pup. i.e Coffee Mug sized. It meant that as she got old, she couldn't climb on the COUCH. We had to lift her up. Then she went blind and deaf. Shortly after that our house got boigled. So we destroyed her!! and bagged her up in the back garden.

I have an adopted cat, next doors. If I open the doors in summer I have to check the house before I lock it, she's always asleep on my sofa or under my bed!

awwwww...she must like your apt...

Yes she does like my house, although I suspect she likes Alfie more! I have to be careful not to leave Alfie within reach, although I suspect the cat would come off worse!

I never liked cats until I met her although I've bought her friendship with several saucers of milk.

We had a cat called "Tarbolloks" (long story) till it had kittens & was renamed Naebolloks. (It was a cunt calling it in fir it's dinner).

Only one cat, Lizzy. I'm sure she wouldn't tolerate any other pets in the house:

Never have that problem. Dinnertime is always at 5.30 and she starts being my (very audible) shadow at around 4. Drives me mad

This Is my kitty, Munki. I changed his food to an adult formula about 6 weeks ago and he stopped pooping actual turds. The vet suggested I give him some mineral oil with his food for awhile and he finally started pooping actual turds today. Yay for poop!

Yeah, at which point he'll shriek his ballix off twice as loud to get back in, upon discovering it actually IS cold and wet outside.

Once seen a cat of mine go BALLISTIC to get outside into the snow, I openned the door, and like something from a cartoon, it dipped one paw in the snow, removed it, shook it, stared at it, shook it again, looked at me, and bolted back indoors.

If she had ballix to shriek off, I'm sure she would....she LOVED the snow. She stayed outside for an hour and even then I had to go outside and bring her in....

Haven't had any pets since I left home and moved in with Milky (he has an allergy to pet hair)

Used to have cats.. Cindy, cos I was young and liked the name. Sophie & Shula, already named when we got them as retired breeding cats.. The last cat I had was a rescue cat.. the lady at the rescue place didn't name the cats through fear of getting too attached but she referenced them by referring to them by the place they were found.

The kitten I took had been found covered in oil, hanging by her neck in a Carpark.. the name kinda stuck... Mum thought it a bit weird for a while calling Carpark in for dinner.. She was the most affectionate cat I ever had.. I really miss her.. she was on steroids all her short life for a skin condition brought on by the oil...

& the last pet was a friend's discarded rat called Twix... she was crazy.. like a mini dog.. very entertaining as long as you can cope with the fact they love to chew through any wire that comes within 5 foot of em....

I've been into a petshop today. I said, "Can I buy a goldfish?"

The guy said, "Do you want an aquarium?"

I said, "I don't care what star sign it is."

So what? I went to the pet shop wanting to buy a tortoise or a terrapin but they didn't have any because the lorry delivering them had crashed.

It was a turtle disaster.
