Why don't any good bands play near me? Oh, that's right-I live in Montana where country music dominates to a large extent. You are lucky.

It's people of my age (mid-life) who suddenly want to go and see bands that were popular when they were in their late teens...

Now that the kids have grown up, they now have time to go and see bands... Probably the main reason why "Versus Cancer" sold out quickly (Ian Brown, Charlatans, Echo & Bunnymen)...?

since a load of babies grew up, turned 18 and decided it was necessary to like them. guuuuhhhhhhh!!! that's you!!

Think its more likely because its almost a homecoming gig (most of them live in LA/New York now),only 12 or so miles from Northwich.

Plus its a good place for a gig,and its gonna be good weather by then.

I shall be going, and so shall my wife! (It will probably be the first time we have a proper night out together since Henry arrived in December, so will need a good night out by then)! Got tickets yesterday afternoon, so not sure how quickly it sold out, although I got them from myWorld credit card site, supposed to have some kind of 'special' access to tickets etc..Have seen the Charlies several times over the years since 1990, missed the Christmas gigs but saw them earlier last year, they are always worth the entrance fee, even if just for Sproston Green...superb!!
