Check out Oakenfold's Goa Mix which opens with some operatic bollocks then Lemon slowly seeping in. Instrumental only but quite a beautiful moment.

Actually quite like it with the Edge's vocals too, mind.

I had that on my HD,thought it was his own track 'Orange' which he reused to do 'Lemon'.

Yeah, it was, though most people know it better as "Lemon" I guess?

Ended up giving it a proper release a good year later as Grace's "Skin on Skin" and completely fcuking ruined it. :nonono:

Where do you get this loopy theory from that anyone who doesn't like U2 or doesn't want to shag Bono up the backside is somehow 'jealous'?

Bit of a playground defence innit?

Its just general revulsion as far as I'm concerned. No jealousy at all, here. Disembowellment sounds relatively attractive to swapping lives with Ireland's favourite son.

Abserlutely... if for any particular reason I woke up as Bono tomorrow morning the sharpened ice-cream scoop would be at the ready.

"one" has to be the most overrated, crappy, self-righteous song I have ever heard. Yet somehow it keeps getting mentioned by other music "artists" that its thier favorite song. What the hell is the big deal with that boring song?

Pick any 8 tracks you want from the first 2 albums and add 'Until The End Of The World' and especially '11 O'Clock Tick Tock' (I still have some amazing live versions of this track from 1979/80 when I first started following them around the UK).

There you go

anything else is pretentious shite.

Hillarious. so True. :thumb: Pontiac. The fuss over One might be the Timing. Darker tune by U2 Edge apparently going through a divorce etc.s. Brian Eno Daniel Lanois each or both played for Producer or some such. Anton Corbijn also continued to be one of their set photographers. Agreed the early tunes off Boy, October 81, War '83, Unforgettable Fire then Joshua Tree are the salt. Could've stopped there yet seems the Rattle Hum and Achtung (Eastern Germany wasn't it recorded in) or HTDAn Atomic Bomb has kept paying  :\pimp: their Image. The Amnesty Internatnl. work, Sarajevo media exposure etc.s is still doing more than various gov'ts seem to.
