OMD!

I like OMD. Mostly the earlier stuff though. I have their Singles album but like only the first 2/3 of the album-their earlier tracks. Anything on that album past Dreaming I didn't really care for. Obviously, since I only own that album I couldn't really consider myself an OMD fan but I absolutely love Electricity, Messages, Enola Gay and *Maid of Orleans.*I think they are a great band.
Architecture & Morality was good.Think i once owned a copy of Junk Culture but kind of gave up on them a bit after that.
Tickets for London already purchased.
I really hope Andy MacClusky still does the bass dance.

Cheers
No, but Factory released their first single.
Woo! I got tickets too. Yey!
Er, I don't think I actually like 'em? ![]()
Will they do any Atomic Kitten numbers? ![]()
Like the early stuff, not too keen on anything after Dazzle Ships... Organisation is a great album
Seeing them do A&M would be interesting though...

These should've gone in the 'Bands who lost their credibility' thread. Excellent till the late eighties, but really went downhill in the nineties. What was the last decent album,The Pacific Age?

Horrendous. I saw them twice when I was about 12. I can't see how you've got the stomach to watch them.

One hit wonders, fair way to go just to hear 'How Bizarre!' ![]()
????? They're playing the Clyde Auditorium?! That place holds circa 4K. If OMD pull over 1K in Glasgow I'll eat a scabby dog. They're the type of act you would expect to see on one of those dodgy "Stars Of The Eighties" tours alongside T'Pau, Go West and Nik (without a c!) Kershaw. Couldn't be less interested.

Well.without meeting you,i had you pegged at an 8.5. But was pretty sure it'd be 11 once i'd met you.

Well, I'm going to see OMD actually. ![]()
SUGAR TAX was quite a good album seeing as it was just Andy, though it was pure pop compared to the early pop with a big toe in the experimental bath. LIVE amazing! Wait till he does Maid Of Orleans.......akin to watching Ash in ALIEN when he loses his marbles.
ARCHITECTURE & MORALITY is being remastered again...bastard...I've just bought it.But it's coming out with a DVD of their live performance Drury Lane 1981.
